Hi, my name is Becky and I'm almost finished with my 15th year of teaching. My career started as a High School girls' physical education teacher at a Title I high school in Las Vegas, Nevada. After 7 years of teaching, I accepted a teaching position at a private international school in Cairo, Egypt. During my time abroad I have served on numerous interdisciplinary teams focused on social-emotional learning, and diversity equity and inclusion. I am also the founder of a program called Girls Get Strong that strives to empower girls to be healthy.
