About Me

I am an experienced English professor of composition and literature and multidisciplinary tutor with a demonstrated history of working with students in primary, secondary, and at higher education levels, providing not only academic support but also offering patience, understanding and encouragement. I bring a positive, outgoing personality, with valued experience in customer service and client support in the financial and financial tech industries as well as student mentoring. My classroom experience includes instructing (in person and remotely) a diverse population of traditional students, working and returning students, GED level students and ESL adult learners from a variety of educational backgrounds. I have created my own syllabi and lesson plans, and continually incorporate required department syllabi. At every level, I push each student to reach beyond his or her own potential. Truly, I enjoy helping people.
