I am originally from Apopka, Florida. After graduating high school in 1994, I joined the United States Navy and served from 1994 - 2007. I was medically discharged for injuries sustained during Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

After the Navy. I earned my Bachelor's in History, then attended law school for two years. Personal reasons required me to leave law school, and put my energy elsewhere.

I then went on to earn my Master's in History. I am currently the 8th grade Social Studies teacher at Pattillo Middle School in Tarboro NC. 

I am also currently working on my Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Paralegal Studies and a Master's in Education...

I love history, and I love teaching it...
