I have over 30 years experience in international sport governance leading a diverse portfolio of projects in the educational/public, private and not for profit sectors. Currently, I am an Associate Professor of Sport Governance at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. I completed my Ph.D. at Loughborough University. My teaching and research expertise centers on examining international and Olympic sport governance, analyzing international and national sport policy, and evaluating corporate good governance in sport to embed sustainable improvement strategies. Prior to academia, I worked in community and elite sport development in senior management positions in local government, Major League Soccer, Sport England and the sport-humanitarian international NGO - Right to Play.
