About Me

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Paul Nathenson
I believe in a holistic teaching philosophy based on diversity, equity, and inclusion that is grounded in empathy, understanding, fairness, and academic integrity.  I have a personal interest in cultural competency/cultural humility and servant leadership. My research has been focused on nonpharmalogical options in the treatment of pain and chronic conditions. I think these options are especially appropriate for nurses since many of these options are within the independent scope of practice for the registered nurse.
