I obtained my PhD degree in 2021, with the thesis entitled Understanding Secondary School International Student Education Experience: Aspiration, Belonging and Connectedness. I am currently devoting 40% of my time to raising my school-aged children, 40% of my time to paid work (including self-employed), and 20% of my time to voluntary services with social reach and impact.
I am specialised in designing and implementing specific and aligning services for individuals and family cases. I have had 10+ years of experience in education administration and recruitment, having liaised with various industry stake-holders in Australia and overseas. In between study and child-bearing times, I had been employed as an English language teacher and pastoral care officer in Vietnam, a scholarship program manager in Australia, an academic unit chair, a research assistant, and an assessment officer.
