About Me

My professional teaching goals are to always retain an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the students that I instruct.
I use my passion and professional experiences in the courses that I instruct as key factors on which I focus my teaching. Showing passion for teaching, helping students to improve their educational goals, being organized and ready for any situation, has helped me to run a successful classroom.
I provide a learning environment that weaves everyday occurrences with the concepts that are being addressed in the course material.
An important strategy for linking theory with practice is through experiential learning. As much as possible, I aim to use students’ involvement in real world projects as a way for them to see theory in action and to be able to practice the skills they have learned in the classroom.
I use a range of assignments for students to demonstrate their abilities to carry out new skills and apply course concepts.
