Psychology as an applied behavioral science; human development, conflict and adjustment, social behavior, group processes, individual differences, personality theory and assessment, behavior disorders, and principles of conditioning, learning and forgetting.

This course will introduce the many concepts and stories of child abuse from professionals in social work, law enforcement and the many individuals affected by these events.

This course will provide you with an introduction to experimental methods of research with an emphasis on design and execution of exploratory investigations. While there are many facets of laboratory research which will not be covered in this course, you should leave with a solid foundation of the basic skill sets required for understanding the scientific method.
