About Me

I own a boutique firm, BalyProjects, specializing in policy, public affairs, and media relations. The firm offers high-level strategic advice, relationship outreach and management, message development, political intelligence and advocacy, issue management and monitoring, and business development services. The firm is very active in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. 

I am currently an advisor to Governor Greg Abbott on higher education matters and an advisor to Harris County Commissioners on economic development and health initiatives for women. 

I am a former Sugar Land City Mayor Pro Tem and Councilmember and have been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston for over 16 years.
